The Pall Rings can be produced in a variety of thermoplastics, namely PVDF, MFA, PFA, HDPE and |

filled polypropylene and in the following sizes:
16mm; 25 mm; 38 mm; 50 mm; and 90 mm.
The PIMMS Pall Ring has an internal cross-structure of strengthened diametrical arms making it more mechanically robust than other plastic tower packing which makes it suitable for use in deep packed beds.
It is designed for low pressure-drop, high capacity applications enabling higher gas and liquid transfer rates. There is thus a high absorption efficiency which can be beneficial when the reaction rates are slow.
It is resistant to acids like hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid bases as well as caustic soda solution; salt solutions; ammonium chloride alcohols, methanol, ethanol, acetone-organic acids. |
